The Q-Foil technology is currently used in two different sensor systems, the Q-Screen and the Q-Frame.
The Q-Screen is a large-area position sensitive light detector. It can pinpoint and trace the location of one or several light spots hitting its surface with high accuracy. This means that you can generate computer input with laser pointers. A Q-Screen sensor has a standard size of about 85 cm x 61 cm, any number of such sensors can be combined to larger areas. isiQiri also offers a special input device, the Q-Pointer. Using the Q-Pointer, up to four users can interact while being uniquely identified.
The most prominent application of this sensor is in an interactive projection screen, where you can use the Q-Pointer like a computer mouse to control your programs via the projection screen.
The Q-Screen can be used für presentations, training, education, interactive marketing or to even make your complete exhibition booth interactive.
The Q-Frame is a device capable of detecting and locating one or several objectives penetrating the plane within the frame. It can be used to create large touch overlays with multi-user capabilities. It can also be integrated into a projection screen so that you get a touch sensitive projection.
Moreover there are applications in machine safety, gesture recognition and person tracking.
